REDSUN
REDSUN was founded in 1985 by Ger van Ommeren. Initially, we were solely a natural stone trading company – even one of the first to import natural stones from the Far East.
Over the years, our portfolio has steadily grown and has been supplemented by high-quality concrete products, ceramic tiles and most recently CERASUN concrete composite ceramics. The expansion of our portfolio to include the concrete product sector meant that our old company premises in Cuijk were too small. So, we started looking for a larger location where we could build a concrete factory, thus enabling one-stop shopping.
A prerequisite that our new site in Kevelaer on the Lower Rhine, where we have been established since 2000, meets 100%. In 2001, we started operation of our first factory for concrete products here. The last of five concrete factories was completed in the middle of last year, each equipped with the latest technology – such as a high-quality production line manufactured by Masa, which allows for the most modern online surface finishes. Online finishing and one-stop shopping save us transportation routes and protect the environment
ALUXE
ALUXE is a producer and supplier of high-quality patio covers. The company was founded in 2010 by Ger van Ommeren and Leon Vermeulen in Lelystad, Netherlands, where the first products were crafted by hand to the highest quality standards.
With a growing portfolio, a larger production site was required. Hence, in 2010, ALUXE relocated to the premises of REDSUN GmbH & Co. KG in Kevelaer. Here, the conditions for production are optimal. Since 2015, the company has had its own glass-cutting department, so the entire production process is "Made in Germany".
In 2019, a new office building and a show garden were opened. The high quality of the products is based on the expertise and care of the employees. ALUXE today employs nearly 150 specialists, many of whom have been part of the company for years.
